A Sweet Little Treat for the Home!
This awesome antique dresser is from Pennsylvania and based on the dove tails, I estimate that it is over 200 years old – handmade in the late 1700’s. It is an extremely old and extremely cool piece of heirloom furniture!

The shape of this antique dresser had a masculine feel to me and I knew a luscious deep green would be just the color to accent that, as well as compliment the remaining mahogany. While it is amazing shape for its age, this piece needed A LOT of TLC. The style of dove tail indicates that this piece is from the late 1700’s and handmade by a skilled carpenter. I tried to leave as much of the wood as possible but after 200 years, there were lots of dings and peeling veneer that needed to be repaired or removed. Some of the mahogany veneer on the frame is chipped (as can be seen in the last photo), but I decided it was in good enough shape to leave and oiled it to freshen it up rather than remove it. To me, that is part of the character of these old pieces, the wear that gives it’s life’s history.

I have cleaned it, made any necessary repairs, reinforced all the drawers so they slide easily and are solid, sanded, stained and oiled all of the wood and painted the frame in a luscious forest green. The top drawers have the original pulls, updated with paint, and the remaining pulls have been updated to give the piece added interest. The end result is the perfect combination of old and updated, masculine and feminine, understated and glamorous. ***Cost includes shipping, handling, and insurance***

Measurements (being handmade, the measurements are not precise):
Height: 44.5 inches
Length: slightly longer than 45 inches
Width: slightly shorter than 20.5 inches

Additional information

Please Note

***NOTE***
As with the nature of used, vintage, and antique furniture, these pieces are not perfect, but can have a certain character that comes with age. Part of the beauty of these pieces is their history and that one of a kind quality, which only comes with age. Though I do thorough repairs, update each piece to remove any unnecessary imperfections, and make sure each piece is structurally sound, there may be cosmetic characteristics that remain. Please note, there may be imperfections that I leave intentionally to add character to each piece. This is perfectly in line with my "lived-in glamour" design style.
***Color Representation***
Although all pictures are taken as to provide you with the most accurate representation of the piece, there are many variables that may alter the in-person experience, such as monitor calibration, lighting, etc. Please request more pictures or send a message if you find you are unsure of the color representation.
